GIVE UP SOME OF YOUR TIME FOR CRY

CRY is able to do what it has been called to do only with the help and time of volunteers. Without volunteers we would struggle to do as much as we do to raise money to support the projects. We value all our volunteers and thank them for giving up their time so generously.

You can volunteer in many different ways...

  • Why not become a volunteer in one of our CHARITY SHOPS if you live in the south/south west?We have charity shops in Hedge End, Woolston (Southampton), Eastleigh, Parkstone (Poole), Southsea (Portsmouth), Dorchester and Jersey who always welcome and appreciate more pairs of hands to sort out bags of donations. We need people with a good eye for the latest trends, saleable items, creative window displays, friendly chatter with customers and passion for the work of CRY!
  • Or maybe help with CRY EVENTS if you're local to the Southampton area? CRY Head Office hosts an annual CRY Sponsored Walk where we need volunteers to be marshalls, bake cakes, help walkers to register etc. We also have smaller fundraising events throughout the year, when we always require teams to set-up and set-down, volunteer to serve refreshements, handle donations etc.
  • Do you think you have what it takes to 'spread the work' of CRY? Could you volunteer to speak in schools or community groups, or  raise awareness of CRY in your work place?  Then why not become an AMBASSADOR for CRY? Represent the vision and mission of CRY within your own environment and community, become an ambassador for the projects CRY supports throughout the world!
