Welcome to our CRY Jersey Page! In 1998, CRY (UK) set up and registered the Jersey charity "CRY JERSEY" and very soon after, established a charity shop in New Street, St Helier (next door to Oxfam). In 2007, a second shop was added "CRY SHOP at Home" just two doors away from our first shop, the other side of Oxfam (sorry Oxfam!).As the name suggests, CRY SHOP at Home sells items you would expect 'at Home' including quality furniture, white goods, music systems, bric-a-brac, pictures, soft furnishings but also jewellery, greetings cards and a few gifts etc. If you are upgrading and have unwanted nice quality furniture to donate, please call shop manager Brian Whittaker or Sue Pipon on 618497. We cannot accept everything offered, because of limited storage space, but please do think of us first! We can usually collect larger items by prior arrangement. CRY JERSEY gifts all its profits to Care &
Relief for the Young (CRY UK) to support its work with needy children and
young people. Shop profits and other fundraising income has totalled over
£400,000 pounds since 1998. The charity is
celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year in August - and has lots to
celebrate.
