Good quality education for young people in Africa is essential for the building of a skilled manpower base for the transformation of the communities and nations of Africa. Quality is often severely compromised by overcrowded classrooms and inadequate/faulty philosophies of education - a typical school in the area has an average class size of 75. Resources are non existent and physical abuse of children is common creating an environment of fear. New Nation School has a maximum class size of 30 and is a loving and caring environment in which children reach their maximum potential - there continues to be great demand for such schools.

The new school building provides classroom accommodation for 120 children (at full capacity of 30 per class). The addition of Computer Training Facilities and Internet Facilities together with a Science Laboratory will enable these children to study towards IGCE and 'A' Level examinations. This is an investment for the future serving many generations of students.

School fees are pegged at a level which gives sufficient money to pay staff and provide for the running costs so that the school is self-sustaining. They have not factored in infrastructure development into the fees because this would make the fees prohibitively high for a large part of the community they seek to serve. To date infrastructure has been made possible by some grants and gifts from churches in the UK. However, support for infrastructure will still be needed to enable expansion whilst reserving the income from fees to cover the day-to-day running of the school.
