ROTARY SHAKESPEARE MARATHON - STRATFORD UPON AVON
Robert Jansen from Hedge End successfully
completed the Shakespeare Marathon in 04:21:57.

EVENTS FROM 2007
LONDON MARATHON
'Our very own' Simon Martin from Hedge End
successfully completed the London Marathon in 05:05:41.
About £2,000 was raised - well done Simon!
CRY WALK
Last year's CRY Walk 2007 (our third) was a huge success - nearly 200 walkers (of
all ages and abilities) took part which included Headteacher, Ruth Johnson and
staff from Cantell School, Southampton.
During the same week, 190 students and
teachers from The Kings School, Southampton did their own CRY Walk - Fair Oak to
Hedge End fast food restaurants(!) and back.
A total of nearly £22,000 was raised from both walks which
went to support CRY's Day Centre projects in Romania. Not only did it raise an
amazing amount of money for the charity, but it was also GOOD FUN!
