Latest Project Updates

Thank you for your support which is enabling our partners around the world to help children and their families. Here's the latest from our projects around the world and how the coronavirus is impacting them, but how we have been able to support them...

Philippines

Nutrition support for families in the Philippines has expanded throughout the weeks. The team on the ground at our Father's Refuge project have worked hard to grow vegetable plants, before separating them into pots for each family in the village. These will soon be distributed and will be extremely helpful in ensuring children get enough food to eat, along with the vitamins they need in this time. We have also continued to provide food packs to families which contain vitamins, canned protein and noodles.

Mozambique

Babies in our centre at Mozambique are thriving despite the country lockdown. We have continued to support the Iris Zimpeto project, feeding babies who come to us malnourished and seeing them grow into happy and healthy children. Though prices are increasing for food items due to the coronavirus, there is no food shortage, praise God, and all the items the Baby House need have been available to purchase. The children continue to be healthy and do lots of activities even while they are self-quarantined. Look at that happy face!

Pakistan

Families live hand to mouth. Many are taking out loans to be able to feed their families, which they will struggle to pay off in the future. We identified 15 of our poorest students and provided them with food packs to see them through some of this season.

We have already been able to support hundreds of families with necessities and kindness to help them through this pandemic. Thank you for standing with us. Please, will you consider helping us further?
