Last supported in 2012In partnership with Equip UK and Restore Rwanda Ministries, CRY committed to helping with the build of a secondary school in Kigali, Rwanda. The aim was to promote educational and health care opportunities which allowed people in challenging circumstances to determine their own future. The partnership is also committed to working on projects alongside the local people ultimately leading to self-sufficiency and ownership. The vision is to use the best resources available with the intention of promoting aspirations of excellence. Phase I of the build saw the completion of a much needed training centre so that teachers were equipped ready for the first pupils in 2012. This phase also included the medical centre and two vocational areas so that work with the community could begin.
