Type of Support Empower Girls

Hope for Home Ministries in Liberia is receiving assistance from CRY to support some of the country's most vulnerable children. The organisation operates a paediatric clinic that provides free treatment to approximately 1,500 to 2,000 children every month. Additionally, there is a village dedicated to caring for children with additional needs, who are at risk of being killed in Liberia. Our partners rescue these children, provide holistic care and help them build a hopeful future. Finally, they operate a primary school in remote and difficult-to-reach areas of Liberia. The goal of this work is to support widows and orphans during their difficult times and to love them as Jesus loves. Their mission statement is: We exist to help children take their next step towards Jesus.

Erica has many additional needs including Cerebral palsy and was found by our partners a few months ago in a village. She was tied to a tree at the entrance, where some villagers would abuse and hurt her due to their own spiritual beliefs. Our partners rescued her, she is now safe, loved and cared for, and is recovering from her many traumas.
