#BeTheChange Academy
A unique, relevant, empowering and life-changing gap year for anyone between the ages of 18 and 25. The candidates should be interested in, serving the local church, and exploring global and cross-cultural mission - with a special focus on supporting vulnerable children and young people in the Global South.
In partnership with KCC and CYM the interns will undertake theological, missional, and charitable training as well as have an opportunity to complete an accredited qualification in – social justice and trauma-informed practices.
The interns will spend their week attending lectures, volunteering in CRY charity shops, engaging in KCC’s children or youth ministry, and preparing for their mid-year internship in one of our children’s projects abroad (up to 2 months). The options are (subject to changes) Guinea, Togo, Peru, Madagascar and Sierra Leone.
