Hope Is Not Lost | A prayer written by Emma Jackson for those that are affected by recent aid cut.
To the God of love,
the God of care,
to The God we know is always there.

We fall on our knees,
We lift our hands in the air,
We stand together today with this heartfelt prayer
-
We lift up the children,
The hungry, the cold,
Give them the peace you promised and told
-
Draw close to them,
Draw near today,
Give them hope and comfort in your name.
-
Draw near to those,
Who made the call,
Help them see the needs of all.
-
Show your grace,
Your mercy too,
Guide their hands in what they do
-
And draw near to us,
As we pray and plead,
Help us to stand with those in need.
-
Teach us to pray,
Teach us to give,
Teach us to be grateful for how we get to live
-
Our hands feel helpless,
But our God is not,
Lord move in your power; for hope is not lost.
