Join us in praying for refugees around the world, especially the more than 19 million children who have been forced to flee their homes. Many of these children are among those we support.
Upon our knees we fall as we lift them all to you,
The 19 million children, it’s more than just a few,
The children seeking safety, the babies far from home,
The families needing refuge on the streets they roam.
For the 19 million children, God, we call upon your name,
Would you save them, and free them, we know it is your aim,
Would you bring your peace like a rainbow, a promise of deep hope,
That better days are coming, where they’ll thrive instead of cope.
We pray you’ll set those days out in the weeks and months to come.
We pray you’ll provide their food, may they not need another crumb.
We pray you’ll move in Glory, that you’ll shelter them from pain,
These 19 million children, we pray they’ll smile again.
