Why we love The Olympics
The Olympics are here, and here's why they mean so much to us:
Our new brand and logo were inspired by the spirit of the Olympics. Can you spot the "y" in CRY shaped like an arrow pointing forward and a runner crossing the finish line? Through our work, we believe that vulnerable children are in the race to beat life challenges and rise beyond the finishing line of poverty.
Historically and today, the Olympics represent a time of truce and global harmony, where nations come together in unity. This resonates deeply with our values and hopes, not just for the duration of the games but for a lasting peace worldwide.
Many of our beneficiaries around the world love sports, which we, through our partners, use as a tool to help them overcome mental health struggles and trauma, and to improve their well-being, confidence, and self-worth. This is crucial in their journey to overcome the challenges of poverty.
