CRY Gift Catalogue – Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the CRY Gift Catalogue?

The CRY Gift Catalogue offers meaningful gifts that support essential services for marginalised children worldwide. Each gift you choose makes a real difference in children’s lives — from nutrition and education to health, protection, and holistic community support.

2. How does it work?

  • Browse the catalogue and select a gift that resonates with you.

  • Click on the gift to go to a secure payment page and choose how many gifts you would like to give.

  • If you would like to receive a gift certificate, you can then fill in the options such as your name, their name, and a personalised message.

  • If you have filled in the details for a gift certificate, this will be created and sent to the email address provided at the point of payment

  • Your donation goes directly to bringing that gift to life in the communities that need it most.

3. Will my gift reach the children in need?

Yes — all gifts support CRY’s partner projects and programmes, ensuring funds are directed where they can make the greatest local impact. CRY works closely with community partners to monitor project delivery and outcomes.

4. Can I receive a certificate or acknowledgement of my gift?

Yes — you can choose to receive a downloadable gift certificate to give to the intended recipient, explaining the impact of the donation. You will also receive an email receipt following your donation. Please allow up to five working days for us to issue and send your gift certificate.

5. Is my donation secure?

Yes — all payments are processed through secure online systems to protect your personal and payment information. We use Stripe for payment processing.

6. Can I give more than one gift?

Absolutely. Our platform is still being developed, and in the near future, you will be able to add multiple gifts to a basket before making a single payment. For now, each gift must be purchased separately, but you can buy more than one and choose to increase the quantity of each gift.

7. Are there tax benefits for my donation?

If you are a UK taxpayer, CRY UK is a registered charity, so you may be eligible for Gift Aid on your donation. This can increase its value by 25% at no extra cost. Please contact CRY UK for details on Gift Aid declarations. When you purchase the gift, there will be an option for you to declare that the donation is eligible for Gift Aid.

9. Will there be a follow-up for my donation?

We won't be doing specific follow-ups for each donation; however, we invite you, and the recipient of your gift, to sign up for our newsletter - here - to stay up to date with all that is happening at CRY. We include a Project highlight each month, so keep an eye out for the project you have helped.
