What do we love?

Community ties are strong in Liberia, with its resilient and hospitable people and families often coming together to support one another during both times of need and times of celebration.

What are the challenges?

Liberia faces many challenges, as do the children who live there. Children with additional needs are often marginalised or excluded because of misconceptions about their disabilities. Access to healthcare and education is limited for many children in the country, and can be especially difficult for those with additional needs.

What are our partners doing?

We are proud to support His Safe Haven in Liberia, a village dedicated to caring for some of the country’s most vulnerable children. This remarkable project rescues children with additional needs who have experienced neglect, abandonment, or, in some cases, persecution.

Through their compassionate work, our partners provide a service truly unique in Liberia, offering these children the opportunity to thrive and live life to its fullest, regardless of their background or medical condition. We are honoured to contribute towards this vital work, helping to support their efforts to transform lives and create hope for the future.
