Your arms are wider than ours, God, Your love knows no limits or bounds,
Your heart spans countries and nations, where your precious children are found.
Today we lift them to you, those who need a saving hand,
Those whose homes were broken, whose dreams didn’t go as planned.
We lift up children like Lolita, who know more hurt than we could say,
Children who know brokenness, in an unimaginable way.
We know your heart breaks in pieces to see children such as those,
Today our hearts break with yours, as more lives come to a close.
Yet we know there are some sanctuaries, places of safety, love and care,
In your nations across the world, CRY’s partners are standing there.
Would you guide your children to safety, would you show them where to go,
Would your love and comforting presence be the best love they would know.
Would you meet with them in darkness, would your light shine away their fear,
Would you draw close to them in your gentleness, and tell them you are near.
Would you bring light back to their eyes, a warmth back to their heart,
Would you reach your arms out to them, with hope of a brand new start.
We thank you Lolita is found, we praise your goodness and your plan,
Yet we know there’s a journey ahead, so with her and others, we’ll stand.
We will stand until there is justice, we will stand to see peace reign,
We will pray until each and every one is safely in your arms again.
Amen
Thank you for joining us in prayer. More than anything else, this is truly the most important way we can trust God together for these children. However, If you are able and feel prompted, we invite you also to consider making a donation.
