In light of the re-escalation of violence in Gaza, where over 400 Palestinians, including many women and children, lost their lives in a single day, we turn our hearts to prayer for peace, reconciliation and justice. Let us pray.
God of mercy, justice, and compassion,
We lift before You the civilians of Gaza,
Who endure the weight of conflict. Grant them strength and hope amidst their struggles.
We pray for the innocent lives lost and those who mourn. For the wounded and those who provide care. For the displaced seeking shelter and safety, envelop them with Your healing and comfort.
Guide leaders and decision-makers to pursue paths of justice and peace,
To uphold the dignity and rights of all people. To turn swords into plowshares and embrace dialogue over division.
May their actions lead to a just and lasting peace.
Inspire us to stand in solidarity with those who suffer, advocate for justice and reconciliation, and be instruments of Your peace in a troubled land. Let our prayers and actions contribute to the healing of this region.
