What do we love?

Palestinian art, culture, and food are rich with traditions like intricate Tatreez embroidery, the unifying Dabke dance, renowned visual arts by artists such as Sliman Mansour, vibrant Hebron ceramics, and a deep-rooted culture of hospitality where guests are warmly welcomed with coffee, tea, and food.

What are the challenges?

The violence in Gaza and the West Bank continues. Families and children are among those who are displaced, jobless, injured, or killed.

What are our partners doing?

Through our charitable, humanitarian, and church networks, we are in a position to support our partners on the ground, The Shepherd Society NGO, in helping children and their families in the West Bank and Gaza. Aid, medication, employment opportunities, and pastoral support are provided to destituate families.

We join them wholeheartedly in praying for a ceasefire, for humanitarian aid to come into Gaza, for peace, justice, comfort, reconciliation, and strength for families who have lost loved ones in the Holy Land.

What can you do?

A Child, like H.

Beyond every project, there are children—individual children. Here’s a case study from The West Bank/Gaza.

At just 18 months old, H was fighting for every breath. Born with severely enlarged adenoids and tonsils, she struggled to breathe, and every night her family feared the worst as her breathing would stop and she would lose consciousness.

Her father had worked in Jerusalem to provide for her medical care, but after the events of 2023, he lost his job and could no longer afford the surgery and medication she desperately needed.

When all seemed lost, the Shepherd Society X CRY partnership stepped in. They covered the cost of H's surgery and provided the medication she needed.

Today, H sleeps peacefully, breathes freely, and is finally able to enjoy the childhood every child deserves. Sometimes, a single act of kindness doesn't just change a life—it saves one.
