This Summer, we remain dedicated to walking alongside children with our partners, providing practical care, relief, education, and opportunities that help them flourish. But we also believe God is calling us beyond that first mile. "The extra mile" means reaching even more children who need care, relief, and support.

Spring Of Life X CRY in The Gambia
We are pleased to partner with Spring of Life Association Gambia (SOLAG) to support children and young people in Sinchu Alagie and surrounding communities through education.
Spring of Life School currently educates 290 children (115 boys and 175 girls), most from low-income families who would otherwise struggle to access schooling.
The CRY x SOLAG partnership helps reduce financial barriers for families, support school running costs, provide sponsorship for pupils, and invest in staff development—helping more children access quality education and build brighter futures.

Beautiful Gate X CRY in South Africa
We are delighted to be partnering with Beautiful Gate in South Africa. Through this partnership, CRY is helping to contribute to more than 3,000 vulnerable children overcoming the challenges of poverty, food insecurity, and unequal access to education.
Through nutritious meals, educational support, learning materials, and psychosocial care, they provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive, giving them the opportunity to build a brighter future.

Above is Minah, CEO of Beautiful Gate, during our recent forum in Tanzania. Although we were not officially partnering at the time, she had the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of CRY—our values, vision, and work—and likewise, we came to better understand hers and her organisation. It became clear that this is a partnership made in heaven.
CRY Summer Appeal | The Extra Mile
In faith, we have committed to supporting the two new projects above (in The Gambia and South Africa), alongside continuing our ongoing partnership work across the globe.
To help us do so, we are launching this Summer Appeal called The Extra Mile. 100% of every donation will go directly to children.
• 50% of your gift will support the ongoing needs of children and long-term projects we are already committed to throughout 2026 - this represents the first mile.
• 50% will help launch and sustain our two new partnerships in The Gambia and South Africa during 2026; this represents the extra mile.
Our total fundraising goal for this campaign by August 31st is £6,000.
